Zoey Okoro[5] is a teenage girl and daughter of Beau and Hannah, two former Dream Chasers. Zoey is a music enthusiast and lives with her aunt and cat in Brooklyn. She can be something of a loner, and initially refused to officially join the team due to the Night Bureau's rules. However, she has since opened up and become a Dream Chaser herself.

“Do I look like someone who would help you?”
Zoey works alone… or at least that’s what she tells people. In the dream world, she teams up with Zian to battle the fearsome Nightmare Army. But she’s DEFINITELY NOT PART OF THE TEAM. Just to be clear.[6]
The mysterious new girl at school
Zoey is an independent loner, who likes to keep to herself. She’s used to doing things her way, she does NOT need help, and she’s definitely NOT part of the team. Well, until she is…[6]
Personality[]
Zoey could be seen as a loner and anti-social at most times. However, as she slowly affiliates with the Dream Chasers, she started to open up. She prefers to do things solo, and doesn't admit to her recklessness until it was too late, but sometimes makes up for it. She keeps her passion for music hidden, but was willing to talk about it to some.
Appearance[]
Waking World[]
Zoey has black twist locks in a side sweep. She wears an owl necklace and on her back is an owl pattern. She wears a black leather jacket and stressed jeans.
Dream World[]
Zoey's hair becomes purple, she has purple eyeliner on, and she wears armor resembling a rogue.
Zoey now has turqouise face paint on her eyes and wears a dark blue motorcycle suit with a coral pink collar, turquoise decals and silver, cat-shaped zippers and the Night Bureau's logo on her right breast. Underneath the jacket, she wears a white shirt with a turquoise paw. She also wears a white belt with a coral pink buckle, and white boots with coral pink and turquoise designs.
Abilities[]
- Archery - Like her father, Zoey has superb archery skills, using a bow with guitar strings and arrows that get rid of Grimspawn. She often uses the bow to defend her and her friends from the Nightmare King.
- Combat - In the Dream World, Zoey has shown fighting abilities, mainly used in hand-to-hand combat against Grimspawn and the Nightmare Army. She appeared to have some fighting skill early on, as she attacks the Night Hunter soon after becoming the Dream Bandit, shown in Toss and Turn.
- Chronokinesis (via the watch) - With her watch, Zoey was able to manipulate time in small doses, usually either slowing down time around her so she could act quickly or turning back time by short amounts.
- Dream Bashing - Zoey doesn't really dream craft like the others can, but as seen in Enter the Nightmare, she is able the combine her ideas with the others.
- Musical skills - Zoey is very skilled with making music, being able to play acoustic guitar and sing very well. According to her, her mother taught her to sing and play guitar. Zoey's favorite song was taught to her by Hannah, and its called Lullaby. It is very precious to Zoey which is why she was very angry at the Night Hunter for stealing it.
- Athleticism - Zoey is skilled in soccer, she's fast and strong as seen in Enter the Nightmare and Sound of Sirens, and as seen in Sheep Freak, Zoey is very flexible, she can do cool tricks on her bike and shoot targets with good aim without wobbling or falling off.
- Snowboarding - Zoey is skilled and experienced with snowboarding.
