Zian is a dream creature that's crossed between a cat and an owl. He is the companion of Zoey.

Zian is a giant cat-owl hybrid who Zoey befriends in the dream world and rides to and from her cavern in the fantasy realm. He’s loyal and protective of Zoey, but also has a real soft spot for Izzie, who obviously wants to hug him tight. His silhouette is often patrolling the skies of the dream realms and he’s always on the lookout for valuable dream artifacts to steal. He’s also always ready to swoop in and save dreamers in distress![1]

Zian grabs Izzie, due to having the Night Hunter's crossbow in her possession and brings her to Zoey's Landing, where she tries to convince her to help the others reach the Dream Forge, which succeeds before leaving, only to return to help Mr. Oz and Albert against the Grimspawn.

- Flight - Zian has strong and fast flight for his attacks, he's also very stealthy in flight for him to sneak up on others without his victims noticing, as seen in The Dream Forge, Monkey and the Bandit, and Witchy Ways.
- Strength - Zian possess high strength, as seen in The Dream Forge and Witchy Ways he was able to carry the Brooklyn Bureau without losing altitude or speed, it didn't diminish his stealth either, he can also take powerful attacks without any damage as seen in Cheat Code.
