At night, in Mateo and Izzie's bedroom Z-Blob is jumping around and Mateo and Izzie go to sleep. They meet up with Zoey and Zian on the ether and land in the Fantasy Forest where they stumble upon a party organized by Logan and Cooper, the Grimspawn and the Night Hunter arrive, whom wants to capture Z-Blob using his bubblegun. The Dream Chasers' dreamcraft Bunchu and the Crocodile Car, while protecting the Dreamers at the party, who are shot by the Hunter's bubbles. The Night Hunter captures Z-Blob and escapes to Pillows Peak by using a hidden Sand portal in the clouds. At Pillows Peak the Night Hunter and his Pegasus are chased by Mateo, Zoey and Zian who followed them to the bottom of the mountain. That's where the evil hunter uses yet another portal to travel to some place in the sky of the Dream World. He delivers Z-Blob to the Nightmare King on the Nightmare Galleon while both laugh in malice. Shortly after, Mateo and Zoey end up near the Ship after taking usage of the portal where the Nightmare King was waiting for them to come. Mateo jumps on top of the ship, takes Z-Blob and uses his dream crafting skills to turn Z into a Mech and defeating some Grimspawn. Following their failure, the Night Hunter and his leader leave with the Dark Pegasus. In the end, Mateo uses dream crafting to use Z-Blob as a plane and to return from the Shark Ship to the Fantasy Realm where the dream chasers are cheering about their success.
