History[]
Wake That Dreamer[]
After escaping from the Never Witch through a Dream Gate, Mateo ended up in Beast Realm, loosing his Hourglass in the process. He was then ensnared by vines that tickled him. Despite the Never Witch's efforts, her ravens were unable to locate Mateo, so she blackmailed Beau into finding him. By riding Zian, Beau and Zoey ventured into the Beast Realm. Upon arriving, they rushed to Mateo's aid. Mateo wasted no time in explaining the Never Witch's supposed plan to capture the Grim Realm by defeating Z-Blob. However, they needed to locate Mateo's Hourglass.
As the trio began their search for the Hourglass, tensions rose between Mateo and Zoey, leading to a brief argument about Beau. However, their focus quickly shifted when Mateo and Zoey stumbled upon what they believed to be an average hill, which was actually a giant beetle. Acting swiftly, Beau shot a dart at the beetle, hoping to hinder Mateo and Zoey's progress. The beetle started chasing them relentlessly. Mateo distracted the beetle while Zoey and Beau retrieved the hourglass. The beetle tried to eat Mateo, but Zoey used her pocket watch to slow time and save him. Mateo then used his hourglass to save Zoey and Beau, causing the beetle to slip on slime. With the hourglass secured, the trio headed towards the Grim Realm.
