(The episode begins in the Dream World, where Zoey is riding on Zian who's circling around the Dream Chasers' Landing, Logan waving to Zoey but is ignored)

Logan: (turns to Mateo) Dude, what?

Mateo: What's Logan's problem?

Izzie: (jumps next to Mateo) First, when is Logan not a turkey? Second, he asked Zoey to the fall festival, but she shut him down. (hops back) Maybe she likes someone else. (swinging her left foot)

Mateo: How do you know all this?

Izzie: I see and know all. (she and Mateo fell)

Zoey: Sorry! They're finally here!

Mateo: Yes!

Izzie: Castle Nocturnia, here we come.

Logan: About time. This place is cramping my style.

(The ship landed, Mr. Oz and Albert walked down the ship)

Mr. Oz: Huddle up, gang. Let's hear what Cooper's figured out.

Cooper: Okay. Yesterday, when Izzie sang her lullaby, it made these symbols light up. I think they're the key to unlocking the hourglass. All I have to do is punch in the right combination and... boom! Next stop, Castle Nocturnia.

Izzie: Going to the castle! Going to meet Lunia! Going to have some awesome snacks! (shaking Zoey)

(Mr. Oz and Albert staring at Izzie)

Izzie: And find out how she defeated the Nightmare King.

Zoey: What happens if you punch in the wrong combination?

Cooper: Boom! (Izzie gasps and Zoey is annoyed) But, hey, I got this. Now was it sun, sun, full moon, crescent. Or sun, full moon, star? (looks to Lunia's Hourglass closely)

(Everyone groans)

Logan: Come on!

Cooper: Joking! Jeez.

Albert: (sarcastically) Hilarious.

Mr. Oz: Patience, Albert. Thanks to Cooper, we have a real chance of seeing Lunia today.

(Cooper gives the Hourglass to Mateo, blowing his both hands, hit the combination, and the Hourglass starts working)

Mateo: It's working! (Everyone closes their eyes, is dazzled, and a blue sand fell off the Hourglass)

Logan: Dude, you broke it!

Zoey: Zian, go! (Zian chases the blue sand)

Mr. Oz: After that sand, Dream Chasers!

(Opening sequence, flower deers and Señor Tortuga eating the orange grass, Señor Tortuga gets into his shell and the flower deers run away as the Dream Chasers' ship is boosting, and Mrs. Castillo is awakened, then continued sleeping. The ship and Zian is following the blue sand)

Albert: Elusive little pile of dust, isn't it?

Mr. Oz: Don't lose it!

Mateo: (through the window) There's Zoey!

Logan: Where? (joins Mateo) Is she okay?

(Zian flapping his wings, the blue sand suddenly goes up, and Mr. Oz pulls the gear stick)

Mr. Oz: Brace yourselves!

(Logan screams, gets push into the door, and everyone is looking towards him)

Albert: Logan! How many times do I have to tell you to stay buckled up?

Logan: Ah... one more?

(Zian chasing the blue sand)

Zoey: Keep on it, Zian! Just a little longer!

Albert: This is starting to feel like another wild goose chase, Oswald.

Mateo: Please be here.

Albert: There! Dead ahead!

(Entering a place full of fogs, the blue sand shines, then disappear)

Izzie: Dang.

Cooper: Holy cow.

Albert: We made it, old friend.

Logan: It's... it's... old.

Albert: What in tarnation happened to this place?

(They arrived)

Mateo: (to Z-Blob) I know, buddy. I wish this place didn't look so dang scary, too.

Mr. Oz: Lunia would never leave the castle in such a state. She's... She's really gone. (Albert pats him on the shoulder)

Cooper: So, we got this far for nothing?

Mr. Oz: No. The Dreamkeeper was a chronicler of the Dream World. The tale of how she defeated the Nightmare King has got to be in the castle somewhere.

Cooper: Like in a book?

Logan: Yo, the Nightmare King was totally bent on destroying this place. That's gotta be why.

Mateo: All right. Let's go find that book.

Mr. Oz: Well, luckily, the Dreamlings, who take care of the castle, will help!

(A creature standing on the roof seeing them, then goes away. The Dream Chasers enters in, seeing frozen Dreamlings)

Logan: Or not.

Izzie: Who would do this to Dreamlings?

Mr. Oz: Don't worry, I'm sure whatever did this is long gone.

Manticore: Who dares disturb Castle Nocturnia's all-powerful manticore?

Cooper: Uhm... What's a manticore?

Izzie: Only one of the most fearsome animals to ever walk the land!

Manticore: (chuckles) You don't know the meaning of fearsome, little girl. (flapping his wings behind the window) But I will show you.

Logan: Nah, yo, we're cool.

Manticore: You don't have a choice. The last one standing will be tested. To deem if you are worthy.

(A beam shoots, the Dream Chasers dodges it, Zian got hit by it and is frozen)

Zoey: Zian, no!

(A beam shoots again, Mateo ran from it, Mr. Oz got hit by it, Mateo gasps, and frozen Mr. Oz fell)

Albert: Oswald!

Mateo: We gotta move!

(Zoey stands still seeing Zian, Mateo shakes Zoey, a beam shoots, they ran. Logan and Cooper opens the gate)

Cooper: Not safe. Not safe. Not safe!

(Logan and Cooper closes the gate)

Albert: What do we do? Head back to the rocket ship? Forge ahead? I... I reckon we could hide... we could hide...

Logan: Yo, what's wrong with Albert?

Cooper: He's missing Mr. Oz! Albert's the rational one but without Mr. Oz, he's overthinking everything!

Albert: (moving back and forth) Dadgummit, did we look for a power source?

Izzie: (turns to the gate) Maybe we can reason with the manticore. Then he could fix Mr. Oz and Zian. (Manticore's paw touches Izzie, Izzie fell, closes the gate) On second thought, run!

Mateo: Come on!

(The Dream Chasers running away, Mateo and Izzie's staircase separates)

Mateo and Izzie: Whoa!

Logan: (grunts) This place is nuts.

Cooper: No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Zoey: (screams) Oh...

Logan: Zoey! Jump this way!

Mateo: Zoey! Over here! (Zoey jumps onto Mateo's staircase, they then get sent into another room) Wow. Looks like we found the junk room.

Zoey: Maybe Lunia's story's in here.

Mateo: That seems a little obvious, but, sure, it's worth a shot.

Zoey: We might find a way to break the curse the manticore put on Zian and Mr. Oz in here. (they start searching)

Albert: (he and Cooper get send to the roof) Ahh! Monkey vomit! (the manticore whooshing) Do you hear that?

Cooper: What? Every bone in my body breaking? Ah!

Albert: Quiet! (the manticore whooshing in the background) The manticore could be stalking us right now.

Cooper: Could this get any worse? (he slipped) It's worse! (the manticore shoots Albert) I gotta wake up! (the manticore shoots him, the manticore chuckles)

Logan: Quick! In there! (Logan and Izzie enter another room, then floats) What the...

Izzie: Dang.

Logan: Sick.

Izzie: Man, Mr. Oz would have LOVED this!

Logan: Yeah, straight fire.

Izzie: I just hope we don't all end up as paperweights in the manticore's evil crystal collection.

Logan: We won't.

Izzie: Sweet, let's go mess with a manticore.

(Mateo opening a chest)

Zoey: Ugh! There's nothing here! (throws a cup) It's just a bunch of junk. (about to throw another cup)

Mateo: Evil manticore-thing stalking us, remember? C'mon, maybe the others have had better luck.

Manticore: Fee fi fo fum. I smell the blood of scared humans.

Zoey: (whispering) Quick, hide!

(Zoey and Mateo hides behind the portrait, the manticore enters the room, stomps, and then leaves)

Mateo: That was a little too close.

Zoey: (lets go of Mateo's hands harshly, looks at the portrait) Ugh. Gross.

Mateo: Wh... what? What's so gross about that? (points at the portrait)

Zoey: Forget it.

Mateo: No, really.

Zoey: Mateo! The Nightmare King is out there right now, wreaking havoc on the Dream World. We need to fix Mr. Oz and Zian and find Lunia's book.

Mateo: So you're avoiding my question?

Zoey: I... I don't know why! Okay? It just is. Love's stupid. People ghost you and you're left alone. Happy?

Mateo: Wow. That's an incredibly depressing point of view. You're not alone. You have us. And we make a great team. A good team with greatness potential? Come on, let's move.

(Logan enters another room then falls)

Logan: Dumb gravity. Yo, this place is trip!

Izzie: Logan, look!

Logan: Cool. Windows. And some lame decorations. We need to find that book.

Izzie: What if we're not looking for a book?

Logan: What? Man, how did I get stuck babysitting?

Izzie: I heard that. (Izzie deciphering the window, then heard the manticore laughing, and sees him through the window) The manticore!

Manticore: There's no place to hide. I see you.

Izzie: Yikes!

Logan: Go, go, go! (the door bangs, the manticore roars at Logan, Logan turns into his Dream World appearance) Nice lion. (chuckles nervously, the manticore was about to shoot him until Izzie comes into the scene)

Izzie: Bunchu-bunga! Lolo, go!

Logan: Don't call me Lolo!

Izzie: Exactly what a Lolo would say!

Logan: Run, Izzie! Over here! Quit stalling!

Izzie (she trips, the manticore shoots her) Well, that's crummy. (she got shot)

Logan: I'll be back, Izz!

Mateo: Hey, everybody! We're... back?

Zoey: You know what? I'm done running and hiding.

Mateo: Me too. Zoey, if we don't make it--

Logan: What are you doing? (bursts into the room) Run!

Mateo: Where's Izzie?

Logan: Yeah, about that... (the manticore throws him)

Zoey: Are you okay?

Logan: Yeah. I'm good. (turns into his Waking World appearance)

Mateo: Guys... little help here?

(Zoey shoots an arrow, Logan turns into his Dream World appearance)

Manticore: Arrows? How quaint.

Logan: Hey, pick on someone your own size, you big multi-rainbow colored monster-majig!

Mateo: (to Z-Blob) Ready, buddy? (Z-Blob turns into wearing his robot suit)

(The manticore shoots everyone but misses)

Logan: That again! You're no manticore! You're a one-trick pony!

(Zoey holding off the manticore using her Guitar Bow, then Z-Blob came into action, and Logan punching him multiple times)

Zoey: Let's dance, furball. (shoots arrows to the manticore, the manticore starts chasing her instead, manticore then surrounded Zoey) Logan, don't!

Logan: Too late. (pushes her and he gets shot instead)

Zoey: No!

(Mateo using his Hourglass)

Manticore: Enough. (shoots Mateo, Zoey shoots an arrow on him) I told you, the last one standing would be tested. Prove you are a worthy Dreamer or be trapped forevermore. (Zoey then suddenly is in another room) I can see into your heart. I know what it desires.

Zoey: I desire nothing. (grunts) Except to take you down!

Manticore: Ah, ah, ah. We both know that's not true. You have a tough hide. But you've lost people and that takes a toll.

Zoey: (yells) You're the reason I'm alone right now!

Manticore: It is my job to protect Castle Nocturnia's secrets.

Zoey: That's why we're here! To find out how to stop the Nightmare King from ruining the Dream World.

Manticore: Ah, the Dream World. The one place you feel safe. The one place you can be yourself.

Zoey: I'm always myself.

Manticore: (enters) But what if I could make the Dream World even better? Bring your parents back. Give you everything you could ever want. All you have to do is ask. Wouldn't you like to have people who care about you?

(Zoey is considering, a flashback of her and Mrs. Castillo. Another one with Albert. And a flashback of her giving Mr. Oz a wrench. With Mateo. Zian snuggling her. Logan pushed her and got shot instead)

Zoey: (sighs) I already have people who care about me. So thanks, but... no thanks. I'm good. (goes back into the room where they were in)

Manticore: (growls at her) Haha! That. Was. Pawsome! (claps his paws and an airhorn starts honking and an cheering)

Zoey: What the heck?

Manticore: That's better. Now, where were we?

Zoey: Beats me.

Manticore: (chuckles) I have friends again!

Zoey: Friends? Let go of me, you big oaf! (Dreamling Mushrooms starts to unfreeze and so is everyone else, Zian roars at the manticore and was going to attack the manticore until Zoey stops him) Zian, wait! He's okay!

Manticore: Aw, who's a good kitty? (pats him) You are! You are!

Dreamling Mushroom 1: I can't believe you crystalized us. Again!

Dreamling Mushroom 2: Yeah, I thought we were pals!

Manticore: Sorry, guys. I'll make it up to ya. I might have frozen them a few weeks ago after a disagreement over who would do the dishes.

Dreaming Mushroom 3: A few weeks?

Dreaming Mushroom 4: A few weeks?

Manticore: (to Zoey) Hey! You try being locked up with a bunch of squabbling Dreamlings! You'd want to freeze 'em too.

Albert: What in tarnation is going on?

Manticore: Hey! Hi! How you doin'?

Cooper: Hold up. You're friendly?

Manticore: The friendliest. Love this whole green look you've got going on. (pets Z-Blob)

Izzie: (jumps into the manticore's paw) I told them you'd be a big ol' puffball once we got to know you.

Filippo Achaemenid Darius Cambyses: Filippo Achaemenid Darius Cambyses at your service.

Izzie: How 'bout I call you Phil?

Phil: Works for me!

Albert: Phil, care to explain what's going on?

Phil: Certainly. Zoey passed Lunia's test. And boy, am I glad! You have no idea how tiresome it is to be dramatic and scary all the time.

Mateo: Still seems pretty dramatic to me.

Phil: You see, my home used to be filled with love, light, and creativity. But all that changed the day Lunia left.

Mr. Oz: Do you know where she is?

Phil: Sadly, no. But before she left, Lunia bade me to protect Castle Nocturnia with a test. One that only a worthy Dreamer would pass.

(Everyone turned around to Zoey)

Logan: Way to be worthy, Zoey!

Zoey: What? It was no biggie.

Phil: On the contrary, not everyone would have the fortitude to turn down everything their heart desires in order to help their friends. Lunia decreed that only a worthy Dreamer could bring Castle Nocturnia back to its rightful state. (gives Zoey the hourglass)

Zoey: Eh... What do I do?

Manticore: Just hold it aloft. The hourglass will do the rest.

Izzie: You go, girl!

(Everyone looking at the hourglass and after it finished, everyone starts cheering roars)

Phil: (roars, chuckles) Oopsies.

Izzie: So, Phil? Any awesome snacks up in here?

Phil: Of course! Why, I could tell you about legions of incredible meals!

Izzie: YES, please.

Albert: Ahem. I hate to break up this, uh, cozy scene, but we need to find Lunia's book.

Mr. Oz: Albert's right. The sooner we discover the key to defeating the Nightmare King, the better.

Izzie: What if I told you the story wasn't actually in a book?

Logan: Not in a book? Quit being weird, Izzie. (an eye pops out of his hat, spying)

Night Hunter: They're closer than we thought...

Nightmare King: No matter. Tonight... we destroy Castle Nocturnia. (the grimspawn cheering)
