Enter the Nightmare

(The episode begins on a projection of Lunia's battle with the Nightmare King. The previous Brooklyn Bureau runs from a flock of Night Terrors. They stop to fight back, and the Nightmare King watches, laughing. Hannah is grabbed by a Night Terror and wakes up screaming. Oz wakes as well, disappearing)

Mr. Oz: I've always wanted to know what really happened after I woke.

(They watch Lunia's projection rise into the air)

Izzie: What is she doing?

(Lunia Dream Crafts, and the projection around them is changed to a blank white area)

Logan: So what did Lunia do? Erase everything?

Mr. Oz: I understand now. To imprison the Nightmare King, Lunia created an entire realm.

(Intro plays.)

Cooper: How do you Dream Craft a whole realm?

Phil: Only someone powerful enough to become a Dream Keeper could harness that amount of dream sand.

(The Nightmare King charges at Lunia, laughing maniacally. Lunia Dream Crafts a Keeper around him, imprisoning him)

Izzie: The cage beast, too?

Mr. Oz: The Keeper must've been the realm's Guardian.

Phil: So sad. All Migo ever wanted was Lunia's attention.

Mr. Oz: Creating a realm must have been too taxing. She had plenty of creativity and focus, but had to draw from within for inspiration. It... it proved too much for her. The realm and its Guardian seemed so perfect. Nothing for the Nightmare King to draw power from. But something or someone must have let him out.

(Lunia's hourglass flashes brightly and the projection ends, sending them back to the Landing)

Phil: (Sniffles) I miss her so much! She- she used to scratch me right behind the ear.

Izzie: (Scratches him) I got ya, big guy.

Mr. Oz: Our mission is clear. We must create a new Guardian of the Realm, and trap the Nightmare King once again.

Logan: Look, how can we possibly create somethin' better than a Dream Keeper? His homies will just bust him out again.

Mr. Oz: There's one thing we have that Lunia didn't in the end.

Mateo: Yeah... me.

Mr. Oz: Each other! Her team fell apart. Ours cannot.

Izzie: Mr. Oz, speaking of falling apart. Our Night Terror is still loose on our block. And as soon as it gets dark...

Mr. Oz: The festival!

Albert: It'll be the perfect huntin' grounds.

Mr. Oz: (Sighs) I have to contact the Night Bureau. They need to know this situation has become dire. In the meantime, be careful, everyone. Especially you, Isabel. You brought that Night Terror over, so it is coming for you.

Izzie: Oh, come on. We defeated a Terror in the Waking World before we even knew what it was.

Mr. Oz: And Mateo almost died! Go to the festival. Keep people safe. But be very, very careful. You don't have the same tools in the Waking World. Except this one. (Taps his head) We've faced worse.

(Oz and Albert walk away together)

Albert: Nah, old timer, we haven't. And besides, there's still one thing that stinks like last week's bananas. Why steal the blob? What is it we're not seein'?
