Sweet Dreams is the fifteenth episode of the first season of DREAMZzz.
Synopsis[]
Determined to give the Insomniac's a night of good dreams, Izzie and friends bring them to the Candy Realm; but nowhere is safe from Nightmare King.
Netflix: Izzie thinks it's time for the Insomniac Club to finally get a good night's sleep, and she knows just the place: the Candy Realm!
LEGO's YouTube Channel: Nova and the Insomniacs’ nightmares are getting worse! Izzie and the gang locate them in the dream world and bring them to the Candy Realm to experience at least one night of sweet dreams. But the grimspawns and the Night Hunter are never far behind.
Extended: Witnessing the plight of Nova and the Insomniacs, Izzie convinces the others to find them in the Dream World and bring them to the Candy Realm where they can have the sweetest dream ever! But when they stumble upon some grimspawn also seeking a vacation from the world of nightmares, they soon realize the Night Hunter is close behind. Meanwhile, Cooper tries to activate Lunia’s hourglass.[1]
Plot[]
In Julie Putnam's class at Francis B. Wooley Middle School, Izzie discovers Nova sleeping and wakes her up, earning a thanks from the latter. After class, Nova explains that she was having a nightmare before meeting up with the rest of The Insomniacs. Outside, the other Dream Chasers have lunch with Z-Blob having an entire pizza to himself and spreading his slime while spinning in delight before Mateo noticed Cooper was holding Lunia's hourglass, who reveals he is trying to figure out how it works as a favor to Mr. Oz, since he is unable to. Izzie then showed up and tells them about The Insomniacs' incessant insomnia before coming up with a plan to give them a good dream: Take them to the Candy Realm.
At the Nightmare King's castle in the Grim Realm, Sneak, Snivel, and Susan eavesdrop on the Nightmare King chastising the Night Hunter before being caught by the latter as he was leaving and, in his anger, makes them clean up the Night Mare stall. Annoyed at how they're punished for the Night Hunter's failure and food being awful, they decide to go on a vacation.
Izzie's original plan which consisted of knitting socks for The Insomniacs, give them hot chocolate, fall asleep to Coach Jeffries playing the harp, (confusing Logan) and have them sniff liquorice to dream of the Candy Realm was rejected, so instead, they borrow Señor Tortuga, rescue The Insomniacs from any creature harming them, and make a getaway to the Candy Realm while Cooper would randomly move along to continue his research on the hourglass, during which he discovers the Cyber Realm has now fallen.
Eventually, the Dream Chasers and The Insomniacs reach the Candy Realm, where both groups run into Sneak, Snivel, and Susan, the former of which Logan was shocked to see, since he thought he was dead. As both parties were about to fight, Izzie decided to have it settled over a pizza eating contest with Logan, Z-Blob, and Nova on one team and Sneak, Snivel, and Susan on the other, which ends with a tie and a call of truce. Back in the Grim Realm, when the Night Hunter tries to search for Sneak, Snivel, and Susan, a Grimspawn finds a discarded banana that Susan left behind and the Night Hunter goes to search for them. At the Candy Realm, all three parties enjoy their time there, eating all kinds of junk food and drinks, until they all end up with stomachaches. Their recovery is then interrupted by Cooper showing up after his car was disabled by the Night Hunter on the Dark Pegasus before the three Grimspawn, breaking their truce, call out to him. The Night Hunter then started to fire his arrows into the clouds to shoot lightning bolts at the lollipops, marshmallow trees, gummy bears, and pizza mountains to bring them to life, and attack the Dream Chasers and The Insomniacs. While Izzie, Cooper, Logan, and Nova try to get the car working, Mateo and Zoey take the other Insomniacs to some jello mountains where Mateo dream crafts Z-Blob into one to act as a barrier, until Izzie, Cooper, Logan, and Nova arrive in a crocodile with the car as its body, thanks to Cooper and Logan's Dream Bashing to scare off the five.
The following morning, a rejuvenated Nova approaches the Garcia siblings about her dream and says they were in it, but they lie, claiming they don't remember it before leaves to join the other rejuvenated Insomniacs. Cooper and Logan then show up to talk about their victory to give The Insomniacs a sweet dream before Izzie started to do a lullaby, lighting up the markings on Lunia's hourglass, surprising them. With their rejuvenated spirits, The Insomniacs choose to continue their conspiracy investigation into the Dream Chasers.
