(The episode begins on a Brooklyn street at night. Mr. Oz speeds down the street in his car)

Izzie: Step on it, Mr. Oz! That thing flies faster than a subway mouse!

Mr. Oz: Mateo! We don't have a clear visual on the incursion yet. It's a slippery one, but we'll get it! Have you located the rift in the Dream World?

(Mateo and Zoey ride Zian through the Fantasy Realm)

Mateo: We have. Just chase it through, and we will handle the rest. Have you found the rift on your side?

Nova: And... got it! It's in an alleyway on Fourth Street.

Logan: Can you tell us what we're dealin' with? Is it a Night Terror, a Grimspawn?

Sneak: Nope, stinkbrain, it's somethin' else. It's got a very strange signature.

Izzie: Maybe it's one of those thieving ravens.

Nova: That's a negative, Izzie. Too big to be a raven, but it isn't anything we've seen in Brooklyn before.

(The car engine sputters and halts)

Mr. Oz: Ah, come on ol' Sputnik! Don't die on me now!

Logan: More like Kaputnik. (Laughs)

Mr. Oz: This is no laughing matter, Logan. We are dealing with yet another Class 4 anomaly. This does not bode well for us.

Izzie: What are anomaly classes one through three? Can I get a guide?

Cooper: Uh, can I? I know I put this thing together, but now I can hardly tell what it is!

(The engine lurches and the car screeches to a stop)

Mr. Oz: (Groans) Oh, come on.

(The ignition hesitates)

Logan: Well, look at the bright side! (Chuckles and points) The rift is right there.

Mr. Oz: This is our chance! Ready those Lumi-Casters.

(Singing comes from the alley)

Logan: Yo! I know that tune.

(The car's headlights come on, illuminating the alley. A siren lunges from some garbage piles and the kids scream)

Mr. Oz: (Gasps) A siren! What's a siren doin' here in Brooklyn?

(The siren looms over the kids. Cooper tries to use the Wacky-Tracky, but falls over)

Cooper: Ah!

Mr. Oz: Light her up! Back into the rift!

(Logan and Izzie blast the siren with their Lumi-Casters)

Logan: Not tonight, songbird!

(They blast the siren towards the rift)

Mr. Oz: (Over the Dreamy Screamy Mateo! Zoey! It's comin' through! It's a siren!

Mateo: What?

(The siren flies through the rift and attacks them, then flies away)

Zoey: It's bailing!

Mr. Oz: We can't let it get away! You gotta get it back to the Murky Realm.

Zoey: On it. Teo! I fly. You rein it in.

(Zian screeches and they chase the siren. Mateo Dream Crafts a gooey Z-Blob-like sticky hand that slimes Zoey)

Zoey: Ugh! Gross!

Mateo: Yeah, not what I had in mind. We'll make the best of it.

(Mateo catches the siren in the sticky hand)

Mateo: Got it. Let's go!

Zoey: That's weird.

Mateo: Are you sure we're in the right place?

Zoey: Positive!

Mr. Oz: (Over the Dreamy Screamy) Well? Did you release the siren back into the Murky Realm?

Mateo: Not exactly.

Mr. Oz: What do you mean? What happened?

Zoey: There is no Murky Realm. It's gone.

(Mateo releases the siren into the fog. Intro plays. Mr. Oz is at the observatory)

Royce: (On phone call) Why would you wake me up at this hour, Oswald? Why don't you come see me at Castle Nocturnia? You know perfectly well I'm busy overseeing the restorations. This is highly irregular.

Mr. Oz: My sincerest apologies, sir. We've had a... situation to deal with.

(Royce disappears from the phone screen and activates a hologram of himself)

Royce: Go on.

Mr. Oz: Well, first off, there was another incursion. But don't worry! We handled it. The thing is, it was.. a.. siren.

Royce: A siren? In the Waking World? Sirens aren't your typical dream creature. They never leave the Murky Realm!

Mr. Oz: That's just the thing, sir. When my agents went to return it, well, there was no Murky Realm.

Royce: That can't be. Dream Realms don't just go missing like that!

Mr. Oz: I'm afraid it's true, sir. This is dire.

Royce: Dire? Of course it's dire. If the Murky Realm is gone, sirens may run rampant across the Dream World, and you know their appetite. And what about the Sandman? Where's he?

Mr. Oz: I was thinking the exact same thing, sir. If the Sandman is missing, we may get a lot more troubled dreamers.

Royce: Terrible. First the Never Witch escapes, and now this.

Mr. Oz: My Dream Chasers will find the Never Witch. We'll get out-

Royce: You'll do nothing except keeping your district clean, Agent Oswald. Rest assured, I will get to the bottom of this.

(The hologram disappears)

Mr. Oz: (Sighs)
