Romancing the Spear is the seventh episode of the second season of DREAMZzz and the twenty-seventh overall.
Synopsis[]
Set in the past, Oz's first protégés, Beau and Hannah, admit their feelings for each other on a mission to destroy the Nightmare King's sword.[1]
Netflix: Several years in the past, a young Mr. Oz bravely embarks on a mission to destroy the Nightmare King's sword - and find Lunia.
LEGO's YouTube Channel: 18 years ago, Mr. Oz was training his first protégés, Hannah and Beau. Their mission: find the Spear of the Keeper to unmake the Nightmare King’s sword and destroy his power. But as they set off, it became obvious that not everyone wanted the sword destroyed...[2]
Extended: Set in the past, the dream chaser duo Hannah and Beau argue over keeping the Nightmare King’s sword or having the mysterious Gnorfs destroy it. While they seek a dream relic worthy to trade for the unmaking of the sword, young Oz searches for Lunia as he ponders his future with the Night Bureau.
Plot[]
After the Nightmare King's imprisonment, Beau was entertaining children when a thief attempted to steal a man's wallet. Fortunately, Hannah, Beau's crush, arrived and thwarted the thief. Beau and Hannah then went back to the observatory, where Beau had planned to ask Hannah out on a date at a restaurant. However, they were interrupted by Mr. Oz, who informed them that they needed to destroy the Nightmare King's sword. The Brooklyn Bureau received a call from Abraham, who announced his resignation as Grand Inspector and appointed Mr. Oz as his successor. However, Mr. Oz insisted on destroying the Nightmare King's sword before accepting the position.
Abraham advised the Brooklyn Bureau to venture into the Fantasy Realm in search of the Unmaker, who possesses the ability to destroy the Nightmare King's sword. During their journey, Mr. Oz acknowledged Abraham's resignation as Grand Inspector, as he had given up hope of finding Lunia after her disappearance. Mr. Oz expressed his belief that Lunia would not have left if he had stayed with her, which upset Hannah, who blamed herself for the incident due to the Night Terror attack she experienced. Suddenly, Hannah proposed the idea of keeping the Nightmare King's sword instead of destroying it, as she believed it could be used to protect the Dream World. However, Beau opposed this notion. Upon reaching the Fantasy Realm, Oz and Albert stumbled upon Dream Keeper runes, which Oz believed could lead them to Lunia.
Meanwhile, Beau and Hannah take the sword to the Gnorfs, who will destroy it in exchange for the spear which belonged to Shin, a Dream Keeper, who pierced his own heart with it and hand them the Locator to find his statue.
