Nova Patel is a girl from the Waking World, Izzie's friend, and the former leader of The Insomniacs.

Nova has gone through a lot. A. Lot! But she’s overcome it all to become an awesome dream chaser unit member in the waking world. Go, Nova![3]
Personality[]
Originally, Nova was a quiet girl, until she started to suffer from insomnia, which led her to hardly sleep and became delusional, until the Dream Chasers took her to the Candy Realm, but it only rejuvenated her to continue her efforts on investigating them. After helping the Dream Chasers defeat the Night Terror, she became more involved, informing the Dream Chasers of wherever a rift is opened alongside Sneak.
Appearance[]
Nova has shoulder length mahogany hair, wears a purple and pink sweatshirt with white streaks between the pink lines of the front and sleeves, black pants, pink belt and pink sneakers. Her pyjamas are purple with a sleeping sloth hang on a tree branch. In "Chased Dreamers," from "Dreamer's Block" to "Sweet Dreams," and her videos, she has bags underneath her eyes, as well as "Moving On Up," with addition of a tinfoil hat.

Izzie[]
Izzie is Nova's best friend, until the latter started The Insomniacs and began to investigate Izzie's involvement with the Dream Chasers, until she encountered a Night Terror and began assisting the Dream Chasers.
Sneak[]
She appears to have a positive relationship with Sneak, both of them tracking down rifts in the waking world. However, she does seem annoyed with his jokes.
