The Murky Realm is the only realm the Nightmare King refuses to enter. We can’t blame him, it’s creepy as heck![2]

The Dream Chasers arrive near the Murky Realm, only for them to be chased by the Nightmare Galleon and shot down by the Nightmare King and his Grimspawn, causing the Spacebus to fall out of the sky and land into the Murky Realm. While at the Murky Realm, the Dream Chasers are approached by Sirens, which the Sirens sang a melody causing the Dream Chasers to lose focus and started to cause them to float mysteriously but they stopped after hearing Logan's Eardrum Death Punch, which quickly dissipates the affects of the melody but this causes Zoey, Z-Blob, and Mateo to fall deeper into the realm after Zoey failed to catch Mateo and Z-Blob.

In the Murky Realm, the Never Witch receives the memories that were stolen by her ravens.
Memory Chasers[]
Izzie, Logan, and Mateo goes to the Murky Realm to meet up with the Sandman to see if he knows anything about the missing memories. Later, the Never Witch goes to the Sandman's Tower and shortly defeats the Sandman causing him, the Murky Realm, and his tower to be encased in a doom-dome.
This also caused sirens to escape going throughout the Dream World.[3]
