Memory Chasers is the second episode of the second season of DREAMZzz and the twenty-second overall.
Synopsis[]
Reeling from the loss of their memories, the dream chasers go in search of someone to blame.[1]
LEGO's YouTube Channel: Frustrated by the loss of their memories, the dream chasers go on a hunt to find the thief. Zoey’s convinced the Night Hunter is to blame and ventures to the Grim Realm to track him down, while the rest of the gang finds the Sandman to see if he has any answers.[2]
Extended: Oz takes the dream chasers to Castle Nocturnia to meet Grand Inspector Royce and his protégé Astrid, who are NOT impressed with Oz’s ragtag group. Convinced the Night Hunter is the one who has stolen Izzie, Cooper and Logan’s memories, Zoey heads to the Grim Realm. The rest of the team consults the enigmatic Sandman and discovers who’s really to blame: the Never Witch.
Plot[]
While on the way to meet Grand Inspector Royce, Mateo questioned Izzie about different realms in the Dream World and the yeti on Pillows Peak trying to get Izzie to remember the Dream World. Despite Mateo's efforts, it proved ineffective as Izzie didn't know anything of what Mateo's mentioned. Shortly after, Cooper tries to use the Rememberator to get Izzie to remember but failed to activate the device. Arriving at Castle Nocturnia, Izzie looks out the window of the Spacebus being impressed and asking the others if they are seeing it.
Getting off the Spacebus, Izzie exclaims that she must be dreaming right now to which Mr. Oz repeats himself stating that she is. Soon after, Mateo asks Cooper what happened earlier to which Cooper didn't know the answer and was confused on how he wasn't able to activate the Rememberator. Logan soon chimes in stating he can't remember things either such as his wifi password and homework. They shorly encounter Celia Strick to which Mr. Oz asks Strick if they can postpone meeting Royce to which Strick disagreed and told Mr. Oz the entire Night Bureau is talking about the Brooklyn Bureau and how they incarcerated the Nightmare King explaining that Royce wants to see the group who managed to pull it off telling Mr. Oz that they shouldn't keep him waiting.
Entering Castle Nocturnia, Izzie was impressed of the size of Castle Nocturnia shouting causing echos to go throughout. Mr. Oz soon suggested that Izzie should close her mouth for five minutes which Izzie agrees to but not before rambling for a bit before putting her hands over her mouth. Shortly after, they turn attention to Astrid who was getting tutored by Royce and Mateo was soon intrigued and impressed with Astrid skills. Royce soon turns his attention to the Brooklyn Bureau recognizing how much the Night Bureau members were talking about them. Mr. Oz soon expresses how good it was to see Royce again which Royce questioned Mr. Oz believing that they have not met before. Royce soon introduces the Brooklyn Bureau to Astrid stating that she became a protege of his. Astrid soon openly pointed out their different appearance stating they don't have uniforms causing Izzie to accidentally say she wants a uniform before closing her mouth again. Royce soon asks the Brooklyn Bureau to impress him, however, it didn't go well as planned and they weren't able to dream craft as well as they did before.
While leaving Castle Nocturnia, Logan questioned Mateo on the reason of his low performance which Mateo answers stating he misses Z-Blob so much he can't think of anything else. Cooper soon realized that something bad must've happened due to the encounter with the creepy ravens as Cooper couldn't remember how to build gadgets and Izzie doesn't remember anything of the Dream World. Shortly after, Royce approached the Brooklyn Bureau and asks Mr. Oz to dream craft wanting to see he improved insulting him about his poor performance in the R.E.M's in 94 which Mr. Oz was soon enraged by Royce's comment and soon after the Brooklyn Bureau leaves.
