(Logan jumps into frame, standing in front of a projector in the observatory)

Logan: Wicky-wicky-wicky whazzup, dawgs?! So, you wanna be a Dream Chaser, huh? Well, that takes skill, courage, practice and an amazing instructor. Lucky for you, you have me! (Laughs)

(The title card displays)

Logan: This is Logan's Totally Terrific Dream Chaser Training Tutorials. Ready? Here we go!

(Logan runs offscreen. The projector flickers to a scene from Awakening. Mateo stands in the Fantasy Realm, witnessing the approach of nightmares as he draws with Z-Blob)

Logan: Meet our heroes, or should I say zeroes? (Chuckles)

(Mateo jumps down to the grass, and Izzie jumps down beside him)

Logan: Anyway, this is Mateo and Izzie.

(Dreamling Mushrooms, Dream deers and Unicorns are running in fear)

Logan: Welcome to the Dream Realm. It's real pretty, but can get pretty sketchy real quick - if you don't know what you're doing.

(Mateo and Izzie run towards a Dream Gate, but it dissolves before they can reach it)

Logan: A good example of not knowing what you're doing is what you're seeing right now. (Chuckles) Noobs.

Izzie: (Faintly, in the video) Mateo... (Points offscreen at a Grimspawn)

Logan: You gotta be equipped with a sharp mind, a strong body, and a good fashion sense to survive the Dream Realm. But first I gotta tell you about these little things.

(Grimspawn are corrupting the Fantasy Realm)

Logan: (Chuckles) The Grimspawn! Nasty, evil, constantly annoying pawns who work for the Nightmare King.

(Mateo, Izzie and the dream creatures run from the corruption. Grimspawn laugh evilly as they chase them)

Logan: As you can see, Mateo and Izzie are real beginners when it comes to self-defence. That's why, like you, they're enrolled in Logan's Totally Terrific Dream Chaser Training Tutorial lessons!

(Mateo and Izzie hide beneath a ledge as the Grimspawn pass by overhead)

Logan: We call this move running and hiding. These guys did well.

Izzie: (Video) What happened?

Mateo: (Video) I think they're turning this dream into a nightmare.

(Z-Blob hops off Mateo's shoulder and onto the ground)

Mateo: Wait, buddy!

(Mateo and Izzie stand up to retrieve him and are confronted by a Grimkeeper)

Logan: Speaking of nightmare... Oh-ho! Big bad coming your way! Everyone, meet the big creepy cagey guy! These dudes are no joke! Bad attitudes and bad breath.

(The Grimkeeper roars and Mateo takes out his pencil)

Logan: Matty here is scared, and without awesome experience like me, his instinct is to... run with a pencil?!

(Mateo runs towards the Grimkeeper to prevent it from stepping on Z-Blob. His pencil grows bigger as he slides beneath it. Logan pauses the video)

Logan: Alright, pause it.

(Logan appears in front of the paused projector)

Logan: Okay, kids, I think we can all agree that we are all smarter than our boy Mateo here, but I think I should mention... Never run with pencils! I mean, you can fall and someone could get hurt. Huh, you guys are so lucky I'm here. Alright, roll it.

(Logan walks offscreen as the video resumes. Logan Mateo grabs Z-Blob as his pencil impales the Grimkeeper in the foot)

Logan: Whoa, see, see?! Huh, what did I tell you? You run with pencils, you get stabbed in the foot!

(Mateo and Izzie flee the Grimkeeper)

Logan: It's not rocket science, folks! It's math! Okay, now what are they doin'?

(Mateo and Izzie run from the Grimkeeper, sliding under a floating tree)

Logan: Oh, running again.

(Mateo and Izzie run into a swarm of Grimspawn)

Mateo: (Video) I don't think I like this...

Logan: Yup. Straight into a dead end filled with Grimspawn. (Chuckles) Good job, noobs.

(As the Grimkeeper reaches down to grab Mateo and Izzie, music plays)

Mateo: (Video) Wait, is that my phone?

(Mateo and Izzie disappear into Dream Sand just before the hand reaches them)

Logan: And, of course, chickening out at the last moment. Very Mateo.

(Sneak, Snivel and Susan start shoving each other)

Snivel: (Video) Hey, knock it off!

Sneak: (Video) You let 'em go!

(The Night Hunter approaches the three Grimspawn from the distance as they continue to bicker)

Logan: Okay, so you know how I mentioned the Nightmare King? Well, this scary lookin' dude is the Night Hunter. Say it with me now: Oooooh!

(The Night Hunter walks in front of a line of attentive Grimspawn)

Logan: He's the right-hand man of the Nightmare King. He's tough, but not as tough as me. I know all his tricks and if you wanna learn 'em, you better stick around and pay attention! Or else, you're gonna end up like Cooper over here.

(The video reveals Cooper trapped in the Grimkeeper that had chased Mateo and Izzie)

Logan: And no one wants that!

(The projector flickers out and Logan hops back onscreen)
