Awakening[]

Then he asked his son Mateo, where his would be and received the answer, that he would have thrown it away as he doesn't want to participate at the planned event. Firstly he tried to convince him by telling him to team up with Cooper but Izzie hinted, that this would be a bad idea and he became silent. After that he said, it would be also a chance to find new friends, but then the siblings left for school.
Later, he talks with Cooper's mother about her sick son as she was worried a lot about his current state. As an act of kindness, he promised her to come and take a look at Cooper after his shift and she should tell him if anything changed.
Dreamers' Block[]

José tries multiple times to talk to Mateo over the phone, only to be ghosted by the latter, also unaware of his dealing with Sirens. Eventually, José and Jasmin arrive at the park, pondering before Mateo and Izzie arrive with Mateo apologizing for the ghosting and José introduces Jasmin to his kids.
