Jan is a student in Francis B. Wooley Middle School and a fan of Ninjago.
History[]
Awakening[]
Jan was in the Candy Realm when the Masked Hero passes by while escaping the Grimspawn. In the Waking World, he was at Francis B. Wooley Middle School, talking to a female student.
Peak Performance[]
Jan was performing stretches in the courtyard.
The Anomaly[]
At a playground, Jan engaged in a game of baseball with another person.
The Bigger Picture[]
Jan was seated in front of Mateo's desk in Julie Putnam's classroom. He becomes surprised by her outburst when she tried to get Logan to stop playing loud music on his phone. The following morning, Jan becomes horrified when he learnt a rejuvenated Julie had decided to write a new test.
Short Sheeped[]
Jan was in line, waiting to order from Mrs. Castillo's food truck van, watching Zoey obtain the orders to deliver.
Dreamer's Block[]
Ninjago - Dream Team[]
While watching a Ninjago marathon with Max and a couple of friends, Jan ends up falling asleep during it, where he ends creating a dream version of Ninjago in the Dream World, where he is the emperor, with Kai having Wind powers, instead of Fire as he believed it was more sufficient and pollution free as said by Mr. Oz.
In the dream, he has the Ninja come to his village to protect him, Max, and their friends from the Grimspawn before nearly grabbed by a Grimkeeper along with Kai, but were saved by Zoey before the Dream Chasers are called forth. When the Night Hunter arrived, he kidnaps Jan, and Max inadvertently, so that he could bring the self-proclaimed emperor to meet with the Nightmare King and claim Ninjago for his own. The Night Hunter then started to pressure Jan about who the Ninja were, but he becomes emotionally distraught before Max explained.
Suddenly, he and Max spot Wu aboard the Destiny's Bounty before the Night Hunter sends Night Terrors after it. Then, Logan, in his rage form, boards the ship, springs Jan and Max, and they all jump ship for Zoey and Zian to grab them. Upon landing, Jan notices Kai approaching him, believing he was gonna get chewed on for dreaming the altered powers, but Kai simply used them to straighten Jan's crown before he, Max, and their friends return to the Waking World.
The following morning, Izzie asks him about the marathon, to which he wants to dream Ninjago again, and many other franchises.
Personality[]
When it comes to Ninjago, Jan doesn't keep his excitement in check, even bragging about some differences to be made. According to Max, he also has a habit of making things up as shown when he dreamed of Kai having wind powers instead of fire, believing it to be more sufficient. This would hinder Kai's performance in his dream as he couldn't use spinjitzu nor his Sword of Fire.
Appearance[]
Jan's Waking World appearance consists of a light purple hooded jacket, unzipped to show a gray shirt with a white Christmas tree on it, blue pants, and black shoes.
His Dream World appearance is identical to his Waking World appearance, with the addition of a crown, similar to Jayden's.
