Grimkeepers (originally called Keepers)[2] are creatures in the Dream World that work for the Nightmare King. One of them was created to be the Guardian of the Grim Realm and keep the Nightmare King imprisoned until it was corrupted.
Official description[]
The Grimkeeper has snatched Cooper during his sleep and is taking him back to the Nightmare King! Now it’s up to you to help Mateo and Z-Blob rescue their friend. Choose to dream craft Z-Blob into a mini-plane to confront the Grimkeeper head-on or a hoverbike to pursue and intercept the Grimkeeper and free Cooper when the moment is right![3]
History[]
Background[]
Lunia created the Keeper and the Grim Realm as a means to confine the Nightmare King, preventing him from harnessing any power. The Keeper assumed the role of the Grim Realm's Guardian, a duty that endured for years. However, a Dream Chaser named Beau released the Nightmare King from the Keeper's cage. The Nightmare King tainted the Keeper, transforming it into a nightmare creature known as a Grimkeeper. As more Grimkeepers emerged, their purpose became assisting the Nightmare King in ensnaring dreamers.

Trivia[]
- Similar to Busto from the LEGO Mixels theme, they have a cage instead of a stomach.
- They're also similar to Karzahni from LEGO BIONICLE.
