(The episode begins in the Grim Realm, where the rift to the Waking World is open)

Nightmare King: Tonight... we storm the Waking World.

Grimspawn: (Many overlapping) Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

Nightmare King: Tonight! We create a nightmare from which no one will ever wake!

Grimspawn: (Overlapping) Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

Nightmare King: We must ensure the rift stays open. As soon as it's wide enough, bring my army through. And guard that blob with your life. Tonight, we make sure the Waking World never forgets who I am.

(Intro plays. The Dream Chasers are at the Fall Festival, on the other side of the rift)

Mateo: Somehow he tore Z into two pieces. And that's when the hole appeared.

Mr. Oz: Hm, Z-Blob has always been able to pass from Dream World to Waking World. By splitting him, it appears the Nightmare King has created a... a rift between the worlds. We must reunite the two halves in order to close it.

(Grimspawn fly through the rift, awing the crowd)

Person #1: Oh, whoa.

Person #2: Check that out.

Kid: Oh, Mr. Hopper! These effects look totally amazing!

Mr. Hopper: Eh, they do, but I'll tell you what, squirt, my tax dollars better not be payin' for this.

(A Grimspawn takes one of the kid's cotton candies)

Kid: Hey!

(A second Grimspawn takes the other)

Kid: Hey!

Mr. Hopper: Yo! You two wackadoos better give the kid his treats back.

(The Grimspawn laugh and stick the cotton candy on the kid's head, then are obliterated by laser shots)

Mr. Oz: Happy Fall Festival, folks. Now go home!

Mr. Hopper: Yeah. Yeah, that's a good plan. Let's go find your mom, squirt.

Izzie: Everyone, go home!

Cooper: Technical difficulties. Best if you go straight home, and turn on all the lights!

(More Grimspawn come through the rift, chasing screaming people through the crowd)

Mateo: Man, people are freaked.

Logan: Yeah. You'd think they'd never seen reality be destroyed before.
