DREAMZzz is a series made by LEGO to promote the LEGO DREAMZzz toyline. To promote the new show four Ninjago-mini-movies "Will you enter the Dream World?" were released on April 17th 2023, which showed Kai, Nya, Zane and Master Wu visiting the Dream World, while they sleep.[2] Following their release a countdown was started on the official LEGO site, which indicates, how much time is left, till the show premiers. On April 22nd there were more information revealed on the German website Fernsehserien.de which revealed that in Germany the episodes 1 to 5 will already air from May 15th to May 19th, such as an official description from the TV channel Toggo (Super RTL). A teaser was released on the 1st of May on Pop TV. The first season with the first ten episodes was released on May 15th following with a second season released on May 17th, 2024 along with the rest of the second season released on September 6th, 2024.

Official Description

A group of kids join a secret agency where they learn to use the power of imagination to journey into the Dream World and create fantastic creations in order to help sleeping children being terrorized by the evil Nightmare King who is bent on conquering the Dream World and invading the Waking World.[3]

Netflix: Mateo, Izzie and their friends stumble into the Dream World, a realm of magic and fantasy where they must use their creativity to fight dark forces.

The Dream World is under attack from the Nightmare King. Five friends become Dream Chasers to protect innocent dreamers from his evil plans.[4]

  • DREAMZzz can be considered as the pioneering LEGO series in Germany to incorporate gendering through dubbing, which involves the consideration of different genders in linguistic word usage within a population.
  • Tommy Andreasen stated that the specific year of DREAMZzz is irrelevant as it mirrors real life.[5][6] The implication is that DREAMZzz is set in 2022 or later due to the appearance of the Ninjago season, Crystalized.[7]
