- The cyber villains stand out as some of the few inhabitants in the Dream World not composed of Dream Sand; the others are the Evil doppelgangers, which are made of goo. Unlike the rest, the cyber villains manifest as pixels.
- Despite the trailer's description labeling the cyber villains as nightmare creatures,[3] Jeremy Adams clarifies that those from the Dream World are not actually nightmares.[2]
